Service Overview

A full day booking buys twelve hours of a chauffeur and the exclusive use of one vehicle inside a single city, not a fixed number of journeys. The number of stops is never counted, waiting between them is included, and the rate for any hour past the twelfth is published before you book. What is included:

Twelve hours, one vehicle, exclusively yours
Unlimited stops inside the booked city
Waiting between stops included
Fuel for normal use inside the city
Luggage handling at every stop
Published retail rates from SAR 1,150

Time, Not Journeys

You book a block of the chauffeur's time rather than a set of trips, so the route can change all day without changing the price.

Unlimited Stops

Stops inside the booked city are never counted. What changes the price is going past twelve hours or leaving the city.

Waiting Is Included

The car is held for you between stops rather than released to another job, and that waiting is not billed separately.

Published Extra Hour Rate

Riyadh extra hours run from SAR 105 on a Toyota Fortuner to SAR 405 on a Mercedes S Class, published in advance rather than produced afterwards.

What a full day chauffeur booking actually buys

A full day booking with Roark is twelve hours of a chauffeur and one vehicle held exclusively for you inside a single city. It is not a fixed number of journeys. Where you go, how often you stop and in what order is decided on the day, not at the time of booking.

That is the difference between this and a transfer. A transfer sells one movement from A to B. A full day sells the time itself, which is why the number of stops is never counted and why the car does not leave between them. Waiting outside a meeting is included, because waiting is most of what a chauffeur does.

When the day is cheaper than transfers, and when it is not

This is arithmetic rather than salesmanship, and it does not always favour the day.

On a Toyota Fortuner an airport transfer is SAR 210 and the day is SAR 1,150. That is five and a half transfers. So five movements or fewer and separate transfers are cheaper. Six or more and the day wins, and you also stop waiting for a car between each leg. On a sedan the break even is six movements, and on a Lexus ES it is roughly five.

Two vehicles reverse the pattern completely. The Mercedes V Class transfer is SAR 2,300 against a Riyadh day of SAR 3,450, and the Mercedes Sprinter transfer is SAR 2,300 against a day of SAR 4,025. On both, the break even is two movements. One return airport run has already reached it. On a V Class or a Sprinter we will tell you to book the day rather than quote you two transfers, because two transfers is the more expensive answer.

A worked example. A single executive lands at King Khalid International at 08:00 and flies out at 21:00, with a hotel, three meetings and lunch in between. That is seven movements. Booked as transfers on a Lexus ES it is seven times SAR 290, which is SAR 2,030. Booked as a day it is SAR 1,495, plus one extra hour at SAR 140 for the thirteenth hour, so SAR 1,635. The day is SAR 395 cheaper and the car never leaves.

Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam

The same vehicle costs a different amount in each city, and Riyadh is the cheapest for most classes because it carries the deepest chauffeur supply in the Kingdom. A Toyota Fortuner day is SAR 1,150 in Riyadh and SAR 1,380 in Jeddah and Dammam. A Lexus ES is SAR 1,495 against SAR 2,070.

Dammam works as one connected area with Khobar and Dhahran, so a day there usually covers more ground than a day in either of the other two cities. Routes between cities, and the Makkah and Madinah corridors, are quoted per route rather than per day, because distance and timing drive that number rather than hours on a clock.

What sits outside the booked day

Three things, and there is no fourth. Time beyond the booked block, charged at the published extra hour rate for that vehicle. Travel to another city, which becomes a route quote. And a second vehicle, if the group grows past the seats you booked.

Everything else is inside it. That matters when you compare two day rates that look different, because waiting time and airport parking are the two items most commonly left out of a cheaper looking quote.

Who books a full day

Executives on a single day visit, where the schedule will move and a fixed itinerary is a guess. Delegations attending an exhibition outside the central hotel belt, where the venue geography makes point to point transfers absurd. Families visiting several places in one day. Production and media crews with equipment that should not be loaded and unloaded four times.

If the requirement is a few hours rather than a full day, hourly chauffeur hire covers the same scope on a shorter block. If the group is larger than eleven, group transport prices on seats rather than finish. If the day is part of a multi vehicle event movement, event transportation handles the shuttle pattern. And for companies that need this every week rather than once, corporate transport puts the same vehicles on account terms with assigned cars and one point of contact.
