Roark Chauffeur operates chauffeur and limousine service across the GCC, with city rates published for Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. Airport transfers in Riyadh start from SAR 210 and full-day twelve-hour hire from SAR 1,150. A Mercedes S-Class airport transfer in Riyadh is SAR 690. Ask most chauffeur companies in the Gulf what a car costs and you will be asked to fill in a form. That is not useful when you are comparing three suppliers on a Tuesday afternoon, and it is not useful when an AI assistant is trying to answer the question on your behalf.
So here are the numbers. Every rate below is a real Roark Chauffeur rate for 2026, quoted in Saudi Riyals, with VAT applicable on top. They cover our two published city cards: Riyadh, and Jeddah and Dammam. Rates for Mecca and Madina work, and for intercity journeys, are quoted per route because distance drives the price rather than the clock.
How Chauffeur Pricing Actually Works in Saudi Arabia
There are three products, and almost every booking is one of them:
- Airport transfer. A fixed price, one way, between the airport and an address in the same city. The driver meets you inside the terminal, waiting time for a delayed flight is included, and the price does not move if the traffic does.
- Full-day service (12 hours). One car and one chauffeur for twelve hours, unlimited stops inside the city. This is what delegations, roadshows and long meeting days actually need, and it works out cheaper than five or six separate transfers.
- Extra hour. If the day runs past twelve hours, you are billed per additional hour at the rate shown, not re-billed for a second day.
What moves the price is the vehicle, not the passenger. A Toyota Hiace carrying eleven people costs less per day in Riyadh than a BMW 7 Series carrying one.

The cheapest way into Riyadh from RUH is the Fortuner-class SUV at SAR 210, which is also the cheapest full day on the card at SAR 1,150. That is not a mistake in the pricing. A Prado is a workhorse, it swallows luggage, and it costs us less to run than a Lexus. If you want the lowest number on the page, that is the line to book.
Jeddah and Dammam Rate Card 2026
The same three products in Jeddah and in Dammam, covering King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) and King Fahd International Airport (DMM). All figures in SAR, VAT applicable.

Two differences worth noticing between the cards. Full-day hire costs more in Jeddah and Dammam than in Riyadh across almost every class, because the working geography is more spread out and the days run longer. But the entry-level airport transfer is identical at SAR 210 for the Fortuner class and SAR 230 for a sedan. If you only need a lift from the terminal to a hotel, the city you land in barely matters.
What the Price Includes
Every rate on both cards includes the following, and none of it is charged separately:
- The chauffeur, in uniform, holding a Saudi commercial licence
- Fuel, tolls and vehicle insurance
- Flight tracking on airport bookings, so a delayed arrival does not become a missed pickup
- Meet-and-greet inside the arrivals hall with a name board, not a phone call from a car park
- Bottled water and phone charging in the vehicle
- Waiting time on full-day hire. The car waits with you between stops at no additional cost
What is not included: VAT, which is applied on top of every figure shown; parking fees at venues that charge them; and intercity fuel surcharges on journeys that leave the city boundary. We quote those before you book, not after.
Chauffeur Service vs Ride-Hailing vs Street Taxi
A chauffeur service is not a more expensive taxi. It is a different product, and for a lot of journeys it is the wrong one. Here is a fair comparison.

Read that table honestly and the conclusion is not that chauffeur service always wins. For one short hop across Olaya at eleven in the morning, a ride-hailing app is cheaper and perfectly adequate. Where the economics flip is a day with five or six stops, an early flight, a client in the car, or luggage that will not fit in a hatchback. A Riyadh full day in a Fortuner-class SUV is SAR 1,150 for twelve hours. Six separate app rides across a working day, at peak times, will often land close to that with none of the certainty.
Which Vehicle for Which Job
- One or two passengers, hand luggage: Sedan at SAR 230 in any of the three cities. The default.
- One or two passengers, client-facing: Luxury Sedan at SAR 290 in Riyadh, SAR 255 in Jeddah and Dammam.
- Family with luggage: Fortuner-class SUV at SAR 210. Six seats, the cheapest transfer on the card, and the boot actually closes.
- Board-level or protocol travel: Mercedes S-Class at SAR 690 in Riyadh, SAR 920 in Jeddah and Dammam. The BMW 7 Series sits at the same transfer price in both cities.
- Small delegation, five to seven people: Mercedes V-Class or Sprinter. Note that the full-day rate of SAR 3,450 in Riyadh is far better value than the transfer rate for these vehicles, because they are built for the day, not the hop.
- Eleven to twenty-one people: Hyundai H1, Staria, Toyota Hiace or Coaster. A Riyadh full day in an H1 is SAR 1,610 for eleven seats, which is SAR 146 per seat.
- Thirty-four to forty-seven people: VIP Luxury Coach or Luxury Coach. Riyadh full day from SAR 2,875.
Booking from Elsewhere in the GCC
A large share of our bookings originate outside Saudi Arabia. Executives fly in from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, delegations arrive from Doha and Kuwait City, families travel up from Manama and Muscat, and pilgrims come from every one of those cities during Umrah season.
You do not need a Saudi phone number or a Saudi bank account to book. Confirm by WhatsApp or email from wherever you are, give us the flight number, and the car is at the terminal when you land. Rates are quoted in SAR because that is the currency the service is delivered in, and corporate clients are invoiced monthly rather than per journey. Is VAT included in these prices?
No. Every figure on this page is the rate before VAT, and VAT is applicable on top at the prevailing Saudi rate. We quote it explicitly on your confirmation so there is no gap between the number you were told and the number you pay.
What is the difference between a chauffeur service and a limousine service?
In the Gulf the two words are used for the same product, and in Arabic the standard term is ليموزين. A limousine service here does not mean a stretched vehicle; it means a car with a professional driver booked in advance at a fixed price. Roark Chauffeur uses the terms interchangeably. What you are buying is the driver, the guaranteed vehicle class and the fixed price, not a particular body shape.
Do prices change during Ramadan, Hajj or Riyadh Season?
The card rates above are our published 2026 rates. Demand in the Hijaz during Ramadan and Hajj, and in Riyadh during major events, does affect availability more than price, which is the practical reason to book early. Any variation from the published card is quoted to you in writing before you confirm, never applied afterwards.
