Cityscape Global 2026 in Riyadh: A Chauffeur Guide for Four Days at Malham

Cityscape Global is the largest real estate event in the Kingdom and one of the largest in the world. It is organised by Tahaluf in partnership with the Real Estate General Authority, and the organiser reports that the 2025 edition brought 577 exhibitors from 42 countries and recorded US$63 billion in project launches, partnerships and onsite transactions. For 2026 it returns to Malham for four days in the middle of November.

It is about Cityscape itself: who actually goes, how the show day is shaped, and why its audience is one that books whole days rather than single trips.

The Confirmed Facts

A confirmed exhibition is not a confirmed car. The dates are real and the demand around them is real, but a vehicle at a hotel door is arranged by the people going, and the earlier that conversation happens, the better the choice of vehicle.

Who Actually Goes to Cityscape

Cityscape is not a general public fair with a trade day attached. The organiser describes an audience of developers, investors, government officials, architects, construction professionals, proptech founders, brokers and homebuyers, and says that the large majority of its professional attendees are senior decision makers. The show also runs a VIP investor matchmaking programme, which tells you something about the kind of meeting that happens on the floor.

That audience moves differently from a typical conference delegate. A developer on a stand does not leave at five. An investor flying in for two days of meetings wants to see several stands, a sales gallery across town and a dinner in the evening, often in the same day. A broker hosting a client is showing them the city as much as the show. None of those people want a single transfer to the venue and a gamble on getting back.

Why the Show Day Is a Full Day

The opening hours explain most of it. Cityscape opens at noon and closes at ten at night. Add the drive from an Olaya or King Fahd Road hotel to Malham, which sits well north of the city, and a working day at the show runs from late morning until close to eleven. That is almost exactly the twelve hours that a full day with a chauffeur covers.

The second reason is the exit. When a large exhibition closes at ten, thousands of people leave the same halls for the same roads at the same moment. An app at that hour means a queue and a pickup point somewhere other than where you are standing. A pre booked transfer has the opposite problem, because it needs a return time that nobody on a busy stand can honestly give.

The third reason is the rest of the day. Property is bought by looking at it. Many Cityscape visitors split the day between the halls and a site visit, a sales centre or a meeting in the King Abdullah Financial District. With one vehicle and one chauffeur on standby, those extra stops cost nothing more. For a single evening visit, hourly hire is the lighter option.

The Published Riyadh Rates

These are the full retail figures for Riyadh from our published rate tables. Each full day covers twelve hours with a professional chauffeur and fuel included, and extra hours are billed at the rate shown. The rates are not exhibition specific: a Cityscape day costs what any other Riyadh day costs. VAT applies.

Our own arithmetic on that table, before VAT: four show days in a GMC Yukon come to SAR 6,900, and four days in a Mercedes S Class to SAR 17,480. A developer team of seven to eleven travelling together is usually better served by one Hyundai H1 at SAR 1,610 a day than by two SUVs. Every vehicle is described on the fleet page, and transfers to other cities have no published table and are quoted per route.

Four Ways People Use a Car at Cityscape

The investor on a short trip. Flies into King Khalid International for two or three nights, meets several developers, visits a site and has dinner with a partner. The airport legs belong on our airport transfer service, and the show days on full day hire with the same chauffeur, so the hotel and the stand both know who is collecting.

The exhibiting developer hosting guests. A stand team that has invited investors or government visitors wants them collected, brought to the stand and taken on to dinner without anyone looking for a car. This is the heart of our corporate chauffeur service, usually as one account covering several vehicles for all four days.

The stand team itself. Eight or ten people arriving before noon and leaving after ten, every day, is a shuttle problem rather than a car problem. One van on a full day, or a small coach for larger teams, keeps the team together. Larger movements sit under group transport and event transportation.

The buyer seeing the city. Brokers who bring a client to Cityscape often spend half the day at the show and half at developments across Riyadh. A full day turns that into one plan rather than five bookings.

Most exhibiting companies know their Cityscape plan weeks in advance: who is on the stand, which guests are flying in and which evenings are taken by dinners. That is exactly the information a chauffeur booking needs. A typical plan might pair one executive vehicle for the most senior guest with a van for the stand team, both on full day hire for all four days, with airport transfers for anyone arriving on the Sunday. Named chauffeurs stay with the same guests all week, which matters more than it sounds: the chauffeur learns the hotel entrance, the stand number and the guest's habits by the second morning.

The Week Around Cityscape

Mid November is one of the busiest stretches of the Riyadh calendar. The racing season at King Abdulaziz Racecourse runs every Friday and Saturday from 16 October, the UN World Data Forum closes in Riyadh the week before Cityscape, and MOVE Riyadh follows at Riyadh Front from 23 to 25 November. Three Mistakes Worth Avoiding

Booking a return at a fixed hour. Nobody on a busy stand knows when the last meeting ends. Book the day, not the return.

Choosing the pickup point at ten at night. Agree the meeting point and a fallback with the chauffeur in the morning. A pickup arranged by phone in the closing crowd is the most common failure at any large exhibition.

Treating Malham as a short hop. It is not in the city centre. Plan the first meeting of the day around the drive, and keep dinner reservations realistic.
