Black Hat MEA 2026 in Riyadh: A Chauffeur and Transport Guide for Three Days at Malham
Black Hat MEA 2026 runs from Tuesday 1 to Thursday 3 December 2026 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, reached from Al Qassim Road through the Falcon Gate. Malham sits well north of the central hotel belt, the 2025 edition drew more than 40,000 attendees, and the same week fills Riyadh Front with two transport expos. A Riyadh full day with a chauffeur starts from SAR 1,150.
Black Hat MEA has become the largest cybersecurity gathering in the region, and in December 2026 it returns to Malham for three days. The organiser reports that the 2025 edition brought more than 40,000 attendees, more than 500 exhibiting brands and more than 330 speakers from over 130 countries, and that two thirds of the people through the doors were senior decision makers. Those are chief information security officers, government technology leaders, vendors flying in their sales teams, and investors looking at the next round of regional security companies.
We have already written about why the venue decides the ground plan for Riyadh events, and about Cityscape Global at the same venue two weeks earlier. This guide is about Black Hat itself: the confirmed facts, the week it falls in, and how a car plan for three days at Malham should actually work.
The Confirmed Facts
These details come from the official Black Hat MEA website. Opening hours by pass type, shuttle pickup points and parking details are published by the organiser closer to the event, so check the visitor information page in late November.

A confirmed conference is not a confirmed car. The dates are real and the demand around them is real, but the vehicle waiting at a hotel door is arranged by the people going, and the earlier that happens, the better the choice of vehicle.
Why Malham Changes the Plan
Most visitors to Black Hat stay in the Olaya, King Fahd Road and King Abdullah Financial District hotels. Malham is not in the city in any everyday sense. It sits out to the north west along Al Qassim Road, and the drive from a central hotel is long enough that a forgotten laptop charger or a lunch meeting back in town becomes a real decision rather than a quick trip.
That geography shapes everything. A visitor cannot step out between sessions for a meeting in the financial district and be back for the afternoon keynote without a car that is already waiting. An exhibitor cannot send a colleague back to the hotel for more brochures in ten minutes. And at the end of the day, tens of thousands of people leave the same halls for the same road at roughly the same time.
The Week Black Hat Falls In
Black Hat does not have Riyadh to itself. The Saudi Intermobility Expo and the Global Transport Expo run together at Riyadh Front from 30 November to 2 December, so two of the three Black Hat days overlap with two large exhibitions at the opposite end of the city, out towards King Khalid International Airport. In practice that is one of the tightest weeks of the year for premium vehicles in Riyadh, because both audiences want the same thing at the same hours: a well presented car, a professional chauffeur and a driver who knows the venue gates.
The lesson is simple. Book the week early, and if your team has meetings at both venues, plan one vehicle that covers both rather than two separate arrangements. Our Riyadh Front guide covers the other side of the city.
Three Ways People Use a Car at Black Hat
The security leader on a short trip. Flies in for two nights, attends the keynotes, meets three or four vendors on the floor and has a dinner with a partner. The airport legs belong on our airport transfer service, and the conference days on full day hire with the same chauffeur, so the hotel, the gate and the restaurant all know who is collecting.
The exhibiting vendor hosting clients. A stand team that has invited government buyers or enterprise customers wants them collected, brought to the stand and taken on to dinner without anyone looking for a car. This is the core of our corporate chauffeur service, usually one account covering several vehicles across all three days.
The delegation or stand team. Eight to twenty people arriving before opening and leaving after the last session is a shuttle problem rather than a car problem. One Hyundai H1 or Staria for a small team, or a Toyota Coaster for a larger one, keeps everyone together. Larger movements sit under group transport and event transportation, and our exhibition shuttle guide shows how to size the vehicle count.
Full Day or Transfers
If you are going to Malham in the morning, staying all day and coming back in the evening with nothing in between, two transfers are cheaper. Most Black Hat visitors do not spend their day like that. They leave for a lunch meeting, they stay late for a vendor reception, or they add a second venue. Once there is any uncertainty in the schedule, a twelve hour full day is usually the calmer choice, because the chauffeur is waiting whenever you walk out of the hall rather than at a return time you had to guess at breakfast.
For a single evening event or a half day visit, hourly hire is the lighter option.
The Published Riyadh Rates
These are the full retail figures for Riyadh from our published rate tables. Each full day covers twelve hours with a professional chauffeur and fuel included, and extra hours are billed at the rate shown. The rates are not conference specific: a Black Hat day costs what any other Riyadh day costs. VAT applies.
| Vehicle | Seats | Riyadh full day | Extra hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| SUV, Toyota Fortuner or similar | 6 | SAR 1,150 | SAR 105 |
| Luxury Sedan, Lexus ES or similar | 3 | SAR 1,495 | SAR 140 |
| Hyundai H1 | 11 | SAR 1,610 | SAR 140 |
| SUV, GMC Yukon or similar | 6 | SAR 1,725 | SAR 175 |

| BMW 7 Series | 3 | SAR 4,025 | SAR 345 |
| Mercedes S Class | 3 | SAR 4,370 | SAR 405 |
Our own arithmetic on that table, before VAT: three conference days in a GMC Yukon come to SAR 5,175, three days in a Mercedes S Class to SAR 13,110, and a stand team of up to eleven in one Hyundai H1 for all three days to SAR 4,830. Every vehicle is described on the fleet page.
Getting In from King Khalid International
Many Black Hat visitors arrive on foreign airlines, and since February 2026 foreign airlines at King Khalid International use Terminal 5. Our King Khalid terminals guide sets out the current map. The published one way Riyadh airport transfers, with meet and greet, are below. VAT applies.
| Vehicle | Riyadh airport transfer |
|---|---|
| SUV, Toyota Fortuner or similar | SAR 210 |
| SUV, GMC Yukon or similar | SAR 290 |
| Hyundai H1 or Staria | SAR 575 |
| Toyota Coaster | SAR 690 |

Transfers to other cities have no published table and are quoted per route. More on the capital is on our Riyadh chauffeur service page.
Evenings, Receptions and the Drive Back
Black Hat is a conference where a good part of the business happens after the halls close. Vendors host dinners, investors meet founders, and delegations from abroad want to see something of Riyadh on their one free evening. Every one of those moves starts at Malham and ends somewhere in the city, often after a long day on your feet.
That is where a chauffeur earns the fee. The car is cool and waiting at the gate, the bags from the day are already in the boot, and the drive back becomes the first quiet half hour you have had since breakfast. For a team, it is also where the day gets debriefed. If you know an evening will run late, tell us when you book, so the full day starts at the right hour and the extra time is planned rather than added at midnight.
A Simple Plan for the Three Days
Most companies attending Black Hat know their plan weeks ahead: who is flying in, which hotels they are in, which evenings are taken by dinners and receptions. That is exactly what a chauffeur booking needs. Send us the names, the arrival flights and the evenings that matter, and we can propose one vehicle plan for the whole week rather than a string of separate bookings. If part of the team is also at Riyadh Front for the transport expos, say so at the start, because one chauffeur who covers both venues is easier than two who do not know each other's schedule.
On the day itself, give your chauffeur your mobile number and the gate you expect to leave from. Gate names matter at a venue the size of Malham, and a two minute message saves twenty minutes of searching.
Frequently Asked Questions
When and where is Black Hat MEA 2026?
From Tuesday 1 to Thursday 3 December 2026 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north west of central Riyadh. The organiser lists access from Al Qassim Road with entry through the Falcon Gate.
Does my Black Hat pass include transport?
According to the organiser, Gold, Black and Founder passes include bus transport to Malham, and Gold and Black passes include valet parking. Pickup points and timings are announced closer to the event. Other pass holders arrange their own transport.
Is a full day or two transfers better for Black Hat?
Two transfers suit a visitor who stays at the venue all day with no meetings elsewhere. If you plan to leave for lunch, stay for an evening reception or visit a second venue, a twelve hour full day is usually the simpler and calmer choice. Riyadh full days start from SAR 1,150.
What else is happening in Riyadh that week?
The Saudi Intermobility Expo and the Global Transport Expo run together at Riyadh Front from 30 November to 2 December, on the other side of the city. Premium vehicles are in heavy demand across those days, so booking early matters.
Which airport terminal will I arrive at?
Since February 2026, foreign airlines at King Khalid International use Terminal 5, Saudi carriers fly international routes from Terminals 1 and 2, and domestic flights use Terminals 3 and 4. Always confirm with your airline, and give your chauffeur the flight number rather than only the terminal.
Can one car cover a team of eight?
Yes. A Hyundai H1 or Staria seats eleven and costs SAR 1,610 or SAR 1,840 for a Riyadh full day, which is usually simpler than two SUVs. For twenty people, a Toyota Coaster at SAR 2,070 a day keeps the whole team together.
