Riyadh Front: The Venue Guide for Exhibitors, Delegates and Their Drivers
Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center sits on Airport Road on the north eastern side of Riyadh, minutes from King Khalid International and, by the venue's own description, under thirty minutes from central Riyadh. The venue states that public transport to the door is not available, so every delegate arrives by car, taxi or an organiser's shuttle. Published Riyadh full days start from SAR 1,150.
Most event guides are written about an event. This one is written about a building, because in Riyadh the building decides more about your day than the programme does. Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center, usually shortened to RFECC, hosts a large share of the Kingdom's trade and professional events, and between October 2026 and January 2027 it hosts five confirmed events inside four months.
The events change. The venue does not. The drive from the hotel districts, the exit at six in the evening, the question of whether to hold a car or keep calling for one: those are the same whichever badge you are wearing. If you are exhibiting or attending anything at Riyadh Front this season, this is the page to read first. We have written separately about why the venue decides the ground plan in Riyadh; this guide applies that argument to the single busiest venue on the calendar.
Where Riyadh Front Actually Is
Riyadh Front is a mixed development on King Khalid International Airport Road, on the north eastern edge of the city. The exhibition and conference center is one part of it. The same development includes a shopping and entertainment district a few minutes' drive from the halls, which is why you will hear people use the name Riyadh Front for the mall, the offices and the exhibition center interchangeably. When a colleague says "meet me at Riyadh Front", ask which part.
The venue's own guidance is short and worth reading closely. It describes the center as minutes from King Khalid International Airport and less than thirty minutes from central Riyadh. It offers free parking for up to 7,500 vehicles on a secure site, with drive in access to the halls for exhibitors unloading stands and display vehicles. And it states plainly that public transport to the venue is currently not available, with shuttles arranged by individual event organisers where they choose to run them.
That last line is the one that shapes the day. There is no metro station at the door. Organisers who want delegates to use the metro run their own buses from a station to the venue, on their own timetable. For the 25th WPC Energy Congress in October, for example, the organiser has published a complimentary shuttle from Princess Nourah University and SABIC metro stations, with the last departure from the venue back to the metro at 18:30. If your evening runs past that, the shuttle is no longer your plan.
Getting There From the Hotel Districts
The geography works in one direction and against you in the other. Riyadh Front sits between the airport and the city, so it is close to the airport hotels and the northern districts, and further from the central business hotels in Olaya and the King Abdullah Financial District where most senior delegates actually stay.
In the morning that distance is manageable. A chauffeur who knows the corridor and leaves the hotel at a sensible time arrives with room to spare. The event organiser's official hotel lists usually include properties very close to the venue; for the WPC Energy Congress the nearest listed hotel is a few kilometres away. For a delegate who can choose, staying near the venue removes most of the problem.
Most cannot choose, because their meetings are in the city. The typical executive at a Riyadh Front event spends the day at the halls and the evening at a dinner in Olaya or KAFD, and that evening leg is where the plan either works or does not. We covered the options honestly in our guide to getting around Riyadh by metro, taxi and chauffeur. At Riyadh Front the metro option is only as good as the organiser's shuttle timetable.
From King Khalid International
For visitors flying in on the morning of an event, Riyadh Front is one of the few venues in the city where going straight from the aircraft to the stand is realistic. The venue itself notes that it is minutes from the airport. A meet and greet airport transfer that collects inside the terminal and drives directly to the halls, with luggage held in the vehicle through the day, turns a red eye arrival into a working morning rather than a lost one.
The same applies in reverse. A delegate leaving on an evening flight can hold a car from the hotel checkout to the venue and on to the terminal, with bags in the boot the whole time. That is a full day booking rather than three transfers, and it is usually the cheaper way to buy it.
The Confirmed Events at Riyadh Front, October 2026 to January 2027
Every event below has dates published by its organiser. Where we are not certain, we have left it out rather than guessed.
| Event | Dates | Who attends |
|---|---|---|
| 25th WPC Energy Congress | 11 to 15 October 2026 | Ministers, energy company chief executives and around 25,000 delegates |
| Seamless Saudi Arabia | 9 and 10 November 2026 | Payments, fintech and ecommerce leaders |
| MOVE Riyadh | 23 to 25 November 2026 | Mobility, logistics and transport operators |
| Saudi Intermobility Expo and Global Transport Expo | 30 November to 2 December 2026 | Transport authorities, operators and suppliers |
| Automechanika Riyadh | 11 to 13 January 2027 | Automotive aftermarket trade |
Two things stand out. First, the October congress is the densest concentration of senior delegates the venue will see this year, and it lands in the same month as the Riyadh Season opening and the FII and Global Health week. Second, the transport expos at the start of December overlap with a large security event at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, at the opposite end of the city. Anyone with people at both needs two vehicles, not one vehicle shuttling across Riyadh.
The Six O'Clock Problem
Every exhibition in Riyadh has the same shape. People arrive over a long morning and leave in a narrow window at the end of the day. At a venue with free parking for thousands and no rail link, that window is when the approach roads fill, the organiser's last shuttle leaves, and ride hailing demand spikes in a location that ride hailing drivers do not usually wait near.
The answer is not a faster car. It is a car that is already there. A chauffeur on a full day booking waits in a known position, is told by message when the delegate leaves the hall, and is at the door when they reach it. The same chauffeur already has the evening plan, so the move from the venue to a dinner in the city is one journey rather than a fresh search for a ride.
This is the core argument of our guide to transfers versus a full day in Riyadh, and Riyadh Front is where it applies with the most force.
Shuttling a Team: Vehicle Count and Cost
Exhibitors with a stand team face a different question from a single delegate. The team needs to arrive early to set up, leave late after breakdown, and move between the venue and two or three hotels. For that, one larger vehicle held for the day usually beats several sedans.
The table below shows the published Riyadh full day rates from our pricing page. A full day is twelve hours and every rate includes the chauffeur, fuel and waiting time. VAT applies. We set out the arithmetic in more detail in our guide to what an exhibition shuttle costs by vehicle count.
| Vehicle | Seats | Riyadh full day, 12 hours | Extra hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| SUV, Toyota Fortuner or similar | 6 | SAR 1,150 | SAR 105 |
| Luxury sedan, Lexus ES or similar | 3 | SAR 1,495 | SAR 140 |
| SUV, GMC Yukon or similar | 6 | SAR 1,725 | SAR 175 |
| Hyundai Staria | 11 | SAR 1,840 | SAR 175 |
| Toyota Coaster | 21 | SAR 2,070 | SAR 185 |
| Mercedes V Class | 5 | SAR 3,450 | SAR 345 |
| BMW 7 Series | 3 | SAR 4,025 | SAR 345 |
| Mercedes S Class | 3 | SAR 4,370 | SAR 405 |
A practical rule of thumb: a stand team of eight to ten travels in one Staria for SAR 1,840 a day, which is less than the cost of two sedans and keeps the team together. Twenty people fit a Coaster. Larger delegations move to our 34 and 47 seat coaches, which are quoted per requirement. The senior executive who has to leave for a meeting mid afternoon keeps a separate sedan or an S Class, because the team vehicle should not leave the venue with one person in it. The full fleet is listed with photographs.
What We Would Plan for a Riyadh Front Week
For a single senior delegate: an airport arrival with meet and greet inside the terminal, then one vehicle and one chauffeur held for each day of the event, covering the hotel run in the morning, the wait through the day, the six o'clock exit and the dinner in the city. One number per day, no surge, no second search.
For an exhibiting company: one team vehicle sized to the stand team, held from the first build day to the last breakdown day, plus a separate car for the most senior person on the stand. The team vehicle makes the early and late runs nobody else will. The executive car does the meetings.
For a delegation: a coach or Coaster for the group movements between hotel and venue, one or two sedans held for the principals, and a coordinator who knows which vehicle is where. That is what our event and delegation transport service is built around, and for companies with repeat visitors through the season, a corporate account keeps the same chauffeurs on the same people.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where is Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center?
It is on King Khalid International Airport Road on the north eastern side of Riyadh, part of the wider Riyadh Front development. The venue describes itself as minutes from King Khalid International Airport and less than thirty minutes from central Riyadh, with a shopping and entertainment district a short drive away.
Is there a metro station at Riyadh Front?
No. The venue states that public transport to the door is not currently available. Some organisers run their own shuttles from metro stations; the WPC Energy Congress, for example, runs a free shuttle from Princess Nourah University and SABIC stations, with the last return to the metro leaving the venue at 18:30.
How do I get from King Khalid International Airport to Riyadh Front?
By car, taxi or a pre booked chauffeur. Because the venue is close to the airport, it is realistic to go straight from the terminal to the halls with luggage held in the vehicle. A meet and greet transfer collects inside the terminal so there is no search for a car at the kerb.
What events are held at Riyadh Front in late 2026?
Confirmed events include the 25th WPC Energy Congress from 11 to 15 October 2026, Seamless Saudi Arabia on 9 and 10 November, MOVE Riyadh from 23 to 25 November and the Saudi Intermobility Expo with the Global Transport Expo from 30 November to 2 December. Automechanika Riyadh follows from 11 to 13 January 2027.
How much does a chauffeur for a day at Riyadh Front cost?
Published Riyadh full days, twelve hours with chauffeur, fuel and waiting included, start at SAR 1,150 for a Toyota Fortuner, SAR 1,495 for a Lexus ES, SAR 1,840 for an eleven seat Hyundai Staria and SAR 4,370 for a Mercedes S Class. VAT applies. Coaches are quoted per requirement.
Is parking available at Riyadh Front?
Yes. The venue offers free parking for up to 7,500 vehicles on a secure site, with drive in access to the halls for exhibitors. Parking is rarely the problem. Leaving at the end of the day, when the lots empty together and the organiser's last shuttle has gone, is where a held chauffeur makes the difference.
